Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp - onion paste
  • 100 g - paneer
  • 1/4 cup - oil or butter
  • 2 - green chillies
  • 1 tsp - ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - jeera powder
  • 2 tsp - garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - haldi powder
  • 3 tsp - fresh cream
  • 1/2 cup - tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup - curd
  • 4 tsp - cashew nut paste
  • 2 tsp - butter
  • salt - to taste
  • coriander for garnishing

How to Make Modern Paneer Butter Masala

  • Cut paneer into medium size pieces.
  • Heat oil in a kadai and add onion paste. Fry till golden brown in colour.
  • Add green chillies, ginger garlic paste and fry for 2 mins.
  • Now, add red chilli powder, coriander powder, jeera powder, garam masala, turmeric and salt.
  • Mix well and fry for 3-4 mins.
  • Add tomato paste, curd, cashewnut paste, butter, fresh cream and paneer to it.
  • Mix well and boil for 2-3 mins.
  • Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
  • Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
