Ingredients

  • 1 - white bhopla
  • 1- Potato
  • 1 - Carrot
  • 1/4 cup - peas
  • 1.5 cups - grated Coconut
  • 1 to 2 - Red Chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - Jeera
  • 1 tbsp - Wheat flour
  • A few Curry leaves
  • 1 cup - tuar dal
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard
  • 1/2 tsp - white dal
  • 1 tsp - oil
  • 1tsp - chopped coriander
  • How to Make Molagutal:

    1. Cut the vegetables into cubes and cook them with haldi and salt in a pressure cooker.
    2. Grind together the coconut, jeera and red chillies.
    3. Boil the tuar dal.
    4. Now take a vessel, add the vegetables along with the water it boiled in (it's got all the proteins).
    5. Mix the vegetables, the dal and the ground masala and cook for 5 minutes. Add salt.
    6. Mix wheat flour with a little water and make into a paste.
    7. Mix this with the molagutal. This will thicken the mixture.
    8. Now remove the vessel from the gas and keep a pan instead.
    9. Heat oil and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, white dal.
    10. After they splutter, add to the molagutal.
    11. Garnish with coriander leaves.
