1 - radish, peeled and grated
2 - carrots, peeled and grated
1 - ginger, grated.
1/2 tsp - ajwain
1/2 tsp - black pepper
1/2 tsp -
Red Chilli powder
1 tsp - green chilli, finely chopped
2 tbsp - green coriander leaves, finely chopped
Salt - to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp
flour and water and knead it as we knead for normal roti
How to Make Mooli-Gajar Paratha
Take grated radish in your hand, a small quantity at a time, and press it with your palms to remove all water and dry it.
Do the same with remaining radish and with carrots too.
Now mix radish, carrot, ajwain, black pepper, red chilli powder, green chilli and coriander. Don't mix salt.
Make a small roll from the dough and flatten it in a way so that the centre of it will be a little thick.
Take 2 tbsp of mixture in separate plate and mix a pinch of salt to it and promptly stuff it in the flattened roll.
Flatten it and roll it out. Place on hot tawa.
Keep it on a medium heat so that it can cook well.
Cook on both sides till golden brown.
Serve hot with curd and butter.
