  • 1 - radish, peeled and grated
  • 2 - carrots, peeled and grated
  • 1 - ginger, grated.
  • 1/2 tsp - ajwain
  • 1/2 tsp - black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - green chilli, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp - green coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • For dough:
  • Take whole wheat flour and water and knead it as we knead for normal roti

How to Make Mooli-Gajar Paratha

  • Take grated radish in your hand, a small quantity at a time, and press it with your palms to remove all water and dry it.
  • Do the same with remaining radish and with carrots too.
  • Now mix radish, carrot, ajwain, black pepper, red chilli powder, green chilli and coriander. Don't mix salt.
  • Make a small roll from the dough and flatten it in a way so that the centre of it will be a little thick.
  • Take 2 tbsp of mixture in separate plate and mix a pinch of salt to it and promptly stuff it in the flattened roll.
  • Flatten it and roll it out. Place on hot tawa.
  • Keep it on a medium heat so that it can cook well.
  • Cook on both sides till golden brown.
  • Serve hot with curd and butter.
