Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg -whole Wheat
  • 1/2 kg -whole moong
  • 50g -dink
  • 1/2 kg -jaggery
  • 1/2 litre - Ghee
  • 100 g- Cashew nuts
  • 1 spoon -methi seeds
  • 100 g -manuka
  • elaichi powder
  • How to Make Moong Laddu:

    1. In a kadai, add moong and fry it without oil till aroma is released or it becomes brown.
    2. Add wheat, dink and methi. Saute.
    3. Then grind it all to a fine powder.
    4. In a kadai, add ghee and the ground flour, and fry it till brown. Remove from the stove.
    5. Add 1 glass of water to the kadai, boil the water and add jaggery.
    6. Stir it continuously and prepare a syrup of 1 thread consistency.
    7. Add fried flour and mix well to combine.
    8. Add cashew nuts, manuka and elaichi powder, mix well, and make small laddus.
