Ingredients

  • 1 large-size Cucumber
  • 3 cups buttermilk (sour)
  • 1 tbsp -mustard for seasoning
  • Ingredients for grinding:
  • 1 cup - grated Coconut
  • 4 - Green chillies
  • 2 tbsp - Jeera
  • 1 tbsp - Channa dal, soaked in water
  • 1 tbsp - Rice soaked in water
  • Salt according to taste
  • How to Make Moorekuttu:

    1. Peel the skin of cucumber and cut into small pieces.
    2. Boil the cucumber with a little salt.
    3. In a grinder, grind all the ingredients (listed for grinding) with some buttermilk.
    4. Mix the paste in the remaining buttermilk.
    5. Once the cucumber is boiled, add the masala buttermilk. Bring to a boil.
    6. Then put chopped coriander.
    7. This one goes very well with rice.
