  • 500 g - prawns, cleaned and deveined
  • 1 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - Ginger paste
  • 4 tbsp - Olive oil (or refined oil)
  • 2 tsp - paprika
  • 1 tbsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp - cumin powder
  • 1 tsp - cayenne
  • Salt - to taste
  • 1 - lemon, squeezed
  • How to Make Moroccan Spicy Prawns:

    1. Mix all the ingredients, except oil, along with the prawns. Let it rest for at least an hour. If in a hurry, you can marinate for just 5-10 minutes (the more you marinate, better the taste).
    2. Heat oil in a pan, over medium high heat and drop in the marinated prawns and let it cook.
    3. At first cook them on high heat, for a couple of minutes, or till they curl up.
    4. Flip the prawns and cook for a minute.
    5. Lower the heat and cook for about 5 more minutes.
    6. Transfer the prawns to an absorbent paper.
    7. Serve hot. This goes well with rice.
    8. You can even serve it as a starter.
