Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp - gelatine
  • Mix together:
  • 4 cups - tomato juice
  • 1/4 tsp - crushed ginger
  • 1/4 tsp - garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp - chilli sauce
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • Make a mixture of:
  • 1 cup - finely chopped boiled eggs
  • 1/4 cup - chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup - chopped capsicum
  • 1/2 cup - chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup - chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp - lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp - vinegar

How to Make Moulded Salad

  • Add 2 tbsps gelatine in 1/2 cup tomato juice.
  • Bring to boil the remaining 3.5 cups of tomato juice.
  • Add the dissolved gelatine in the boiling juice.
  • Add the remaining mixed ingredients. Stir well.
  • Let it boil for 2 minutes. Remove from fire. Pour into a mould.
  • Let it set in the refrigerator for 10 hours.
  • Unmold and serve.
