  • 1 medium sized cup - black til
  • 1 medium sized cup - urad dal
  • 2 medium sized cups - red chillies
  • 1.5 medium sized cup - channa dal
  • 1 tsp - hing
  • salt to taste

How to Make Mulgapodi

  • Dry roast black til and keep aside.
  • Roast urad daal, red chillies and chana daal separately in oil.
  • Cool completely.
  • In a mixer, add the black til, chana dal, urad dal and red chillies.
  • Add some salt to taste.
  • Grind the above to a fine powder.
  • Add hing, mix well.
  • Serve with a teaspoon of ghee.
