Ingredients

  • 1 cup - shredded radish
  • 1 tbsp - channa dal
  • 1 tbsp - urad dal
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin
  • 1/4 cup - tomatoes cubes
  • 3 - hot green chillies
  • 1 inch piece - ginger
  • For seasoning: Oil as needed
  • A pinch - asafoetida
  • 1 spring - curry leaves
  • A pinch - mustard
  • A pinch - cumin
  • 1/8 tsp - channa dal
  • 1/8 tsp - urad dal
  • Garlic crushed - 1 tsp

How to Make Mullangi chutney

  • Roast the dals separately, switch off heat and add cumin to it
  • Fry the chillies and grated radish for 10 mins on a medium flame, keep aside
  • Add salt to tomatoes and fry till they turn pulpy
  • When cool powder dals and cumin together with ginger, green chillies, radish and tomatoes and grind to a smooth paste.
  • Season with ingredients.
