Ingredients

  • whole Wheat flour - 1.5 cup
  • soya flour - 1/2 cup
  • Ragi (black millet) flour - 1/2 cup
  • Maize flour - 1/2 cup
  • sour curds - 1/2 cup
  • warm water - 1/2 cup
  • Dry yeast - 1 tsp
  • Sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • How to Make Multi Grain Roti:

    1. Beat the curd till smooth and combine with warm water.
    2. Dissolve sugar in it.
    3. Sprinkle yeast on top and leave until frothy, about 15 minutes.
    4. Combine all the flours and salt.
    5. Add the yeast liquid.
    6. Add more warm water if needed and mix to a soft dough.
    7. Knead very well and keep covered for 1-2 hours.
    8. Knead the dough lightly again and divide into 8 parts.
    9. Roll out each part into a thin circle and cook on hot griddle on both sides.
    10. Keep covered in a thermal casserole, lined with kitchen paper.
    11. Serve with Chicken and mushrooms.
