Ingredients

  • 4 cups - mixed berries (strawberry, mulberry, raspberry, blueberry)
  • 2 tbsp - orange juice
  • 1 cup - sugar
  • 1.25 cup - water

How to Make Multiberry Sorbet

  • Boil sugar with water, till it starts boiling.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Keep aside to cool, to room temperature.
  • Run cleaned berries in a mixie, with orange juice, till smooth.
  • Sieve if required.
  • Add cooled sugar syrup and mix with a spoon.
  • Set the mixture in a lidded container in freezer, till softly set.
  • Remove from freezer, beat till smooth, but do not allow to melt.
  • Return to container and refreeze.
  • Beat again and return to freezer, till well set.
  • Serve in scoops, garnished with sprigs of mint and slices of star fruit or kiwifruit.
