  • 200 gms - button mushrooms, cut into small pieces
  • 1 - small head Cauliflower weighing around 250 gms, cut into very small pieces
  • 2 cups - fresh bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder or moreas per taste
  • 100 gms - roasted Peanuts
  • 1/2 tsp - annar dana powder
  • 1/2 tsp - roasted Jeera powder
  • oil for deep frying
  • 2 tsp - oil
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Mushroom and Cauliflower Cutlets:

    1. Heat the 2 tsp oil and fry the mushroom pieces and the cauliflower pieces till all the water is evaporated.
    2. Cool to room temperature and then grind in a mixer to obtain a fine mixture.
    3. Remove to a mixing bowl and add the spices and the breadcrumbs and the peanuts.
    4. Add the salt and mix well.
    5. Divide the mixture into portions and shape into round tikkies.
    6. Heat oil and fry a few tikkies at a time till golden brown.
    7. Serve with ketchup or mustard sauce or any chutney as a starter.
