  • 2 cups - Mushrooms (chopped)
  • 3 - Whole wheat slices (cubed)
  • 1 - Onion (chopped)
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • 1/2 cup - Low fat cream
  • Water (as per need)
  • Salt
  • Pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp - Kasuri methi
  • Olive oil

How to Make Mushroom and Wheat Bread Soup

  • Heat olive oil and saute the chopped onions until they turn translucent.
  • Immediately add the chopped mushrooms.
  • Saute for a few minutes.
  • Add the milk, cream, salt, pepper powder and cook everything on a low flame until the mushrooms get cooked.
  • Finally, add the cubed bread slices, kasuri methi and water.
  • Bring to boil and turn off the stove.
  • Blend the soup in to a coarse paste and serve hot.
