Ingredients

  • 4 cups - finely chopped Mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup - finely chopped Celery
  • 1/4 cup - boiled peas
  • 4 tbsp - Butter
  • 4 tbsp - plain flour
  • 1/2 cup - Cream
  • 1 - egg, beaten
  • 1/4 tsp - minced Garlic
  • 2 tbsp - chopped Onion
  • 1/8 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • 10-12 - bread slices
  • Salt as per taste
  • How to Make Mushroom egg Rolls:

    1. Saute chopped mushrooms in butter for 2-3 mins.
    2. Add onion and saute for 3 mins.
    3. Let it cool.
    4. Add flour, salt, pepper, garlic and cream.
    5. Blend it well.
    6. Cook the mixture till it thickens.
    7. Add peas, celery and lemon juice.
    8. Stir for 2-3 mins.
    9. Let the mixture cool.
    10. Flatten the bread slices with a rolling pin.
    11. Spread the mushroom mixture over the slices in the centre.
    12. Roll up the bread, covering the mixture.
    13. Refrigerate for two hours.
    14. Cut the rolls into halves.
    15. Put butter over the rolls.
    16. Place it in greased baking dish.
    17. Bake at 400 degrees F for 25-20 mins, till golden brown.
    18. Garnish with shredded carrots and cheese.
    19. Serve with chips.
