  • 3 cups - all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp - active Dry yeast
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - Sugar
  • 1.25 cup - warm water
  • 5 tbsp - Olive oil, for shaping and greasing
  • 15 - button mushrooms, chopped
  • 1/2 cup - cheese, grated
  • How to Make Mushroom N Cheese Focaccia:

    1. Mix sugar, salt and yeast in lukewarm water. Let them sit for 5 minutes.
    2. Meanwhile, take the all-purpose flour in a mixing bowl and add the foaming yeast. Mix everything well (it will be sticky at this point).
    3. Transfer them to a lightly floured surface and knead for a while, until they turn soft.
    4. Coat a deep bowl with olive oil and place the soft dough.
    5. Brush with more oil, cover it and let it rise for 1 hour, in a warm place. After an hour, it will almost double in size.
    6. Grease the baking pan, with a few drops of oil. Press the dough to flatten them. Sprinkle the chopped mushrooms, over the dough and let them sit again for 1 hour.
    7. The dough will again raise and double in size. Now sprinkle the grated cheese over the dough.
    8. Preheat the oven to 475 degree F. Place the baking pan in the middle rack and bake for 20 minutes or else, until the dough turns slightly brown.
    9. Serve them with cream cheese and salads. Excellent for dinner and breakfast sandwich.
