Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - mushrooms cut into medium pieces
  • 1/2 cup - shrimps
  • 1.5 cup - onions, finely chopped
  • 1 - green chilli finely chopped
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1.25 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1 - small piece of ginger
  • 8 - flakes of garlic
  • 2 - black cardamoms
  • 2 - white cardamoms
  • 1 - cinnamon stick
  • 2 - cloves
  • 1/4 cup - refined oil
  • 2 tbsp - chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Mushrooms - Shrimps in Onions

  • Grind ginger and garlic finely and keep aside.
  • Pound cardamoms, cinnamon and cloves.
  • In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat oil.
  • Add the ground lump of ginger and garlic.
  • Add the pounded spices, chilli, turmeric, coriander and cumin.
  • Add the chopped green chilli, onions and shrimps.
  • Add ginger and saute.
  • Add the chopped mushrooms and salt to taste. Stir for 3-4 mins.
  • Cook till mushrooms and shrimp are tender.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander.
  • Serve hot with phulkas.
