  • 2 - big green tomatoes
  • 1 - small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp - garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp - mustard paste
  • 1/4 tsp - dhania or jeera powder
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • salt and sugar - according to taste
  • 2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • a few chopped dhania patta

How to Make Mustard Tomato

  • Cut tomatoes into medium-sized pieces.
  • Now, take a pan or kadai. Heat the oil.
  • Add the chopped onion. Fry till light brown.
  • Then, add the ginger and garlic paste. Fry for a few minutes.
  • Now, add all dry spices. Fry it for a few more seconds.
  • Then, add tomato. Fry till it is light soft.
  • Now, add mustard paste. Keep stirring in between.
  • Now, add water (if required). Cook it for a few more minutes.
  • Garnish it with chopped dhania patta.
  • And serve it with hot rice or roti.
