  • 2 eggs hard boiled
  • 1/2 cup - grated Coconut
  • 1/2 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - Coconut oil
  • A few Curry leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Muttai avial:

    1. Grind grated coconut, coriander powder and turmeric powder into a fine paste in a blender.
    2. Mix this paste and salt with a cup of water and heat.
    3. Quarter the eggs and add to the coconut mixture.
    4. Cook till the curry thickens.
    5. Heat coconut oil in a small frying pan and add the curry leaves; let them crackle.
    6. Add to the curry and your avial is ready to serve.
