Ingredients

  • 250g - green peas
  • 3 cardamom
  • 1/2 cup - curd
  • 1/4 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp - cumin
  • 1/4 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp - garam masala powder
  • 250g - mava
  • 1 bunch coriander
  • 3 strands saffron
  • Ghee for frying
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Mutter Shufta

  • Shell green peas.
  • Heat ghee in a pressure pan, add cumin, chilli powder, mava and curd.
  • Fry on slow flame for about 10 minutes
  • Add peas, coriander powder, salt, crushed cardamom, saffron and garam masala.
  • Close lid and cook upto 1 whistle.
  • Serve garnished with chopped coriander.
