Ingredients

  • boneless Mutton - ½ kg
  • Carrots - 1 cup, cut into thick slices
  • button Mushrooms - 1 cup
  • oil - 3 tbsp
  • Bay Leaf - 1
  • Cloves - 4
  • Garlic - 4 flakes
  • Onion - 1, chopped roughly
  • black pepper - 1 tsp, crushed
  • mustard powder - ½ tsp
  • Vinegar - 3 tbsp
  • water - ½ cup
  • Cream - ½ cup
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Mutton and Vegetable Stew:

    1. Cut mutton into 4 cm cubes.
    2. Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
    3. Add bay leaf, cloves, garlic and onion.
    4. Fry for 2 minutes.
    5. Add rest of the ingredients except the cream.
    6. Pressure cook for 20 minutes.
    7. Let the cooker cool for 10-15 minutes.
    8. Then transfer the contents to a serving dish.
    9. Stir in the cream and serve hot with crusty bread rolls.
