  • How to Make Mutton Channa dal Curry:

    1. Boil the channa dal in a cooker for one whistle such that it retains its shape(half boiled), and keep it aside.
    2. Cut the mutton to bite-size pieces and wash it and keep it aside.
    3. Make a paste of all the masalas.
    4. Now take a saucepan and put oil in it and fry onions and green chillies till they are light brown in colour.
    5. Add ginger garlic paste and garam masala paste to it, fry for 2-3 mins.
    6. Add mutton, salt, turmeric and stir on high heat for 3 mins, then simmer until all the water is gone and the mutton is tender.
    7. Now add water and pressure cook for 7 to 8 whistles.
    8. When the mutton is cooked, add the cooked channa dal to it and simmer it for 10 mins until heated through.
    9. Garnish it with coriander leaves.
    10. Goes well with hot rice .
