Ingredients

  • 1/4 kg - mutton
  • 6 to 7 - red chillies
  • 2 tsp - grated coconut
  • 2 tsp - cumin
  • 2 tsp - ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tsp - coriander
  • 1 tsp - pepper corns
  • 1.5 tsp - split gram
  • turmeric powder
  • curry leaves
  • spices
  • salt
  • oil

How to Make Mutton Dry

  • In a cooker, add cleaned mutton with turmeric powder, spices, salt and ginger-garlic paste. Pour enough water to it and cook it well (two whistles).
  • Heat the pan, add oil and put some cumin and curry leaves.
  • Add the mutton and let it boil for sometime.
  • Meanwhile, grind coconut, curry leaves, split gram, coriander, pepper and red chillies.
  • Don't add water while grinding the mixture.
  • When the mutton gets dry, add the mixture which is ground.
  • Mix well and allow it to roast for sometime .
  • Serve hot with rasam rice or chapatti.
