How to Make Mutton Palak with tomatoes

  • Marinate mutton for 10 mins with some ginger, 1 tbsp curd, turmeric powder and salt.
  • Add in the spinach (1 bunch) and chilli powder. Boil with water.
  • Place marinated mutton over medium heat, mash the spinach. Add salt. Cover and allow it to cook.
  • In pressure cooker, add 1 tbsp oil, full cumin, onion. Saute till little brown.
  • Add garlic, ginger, salt and tomatoes. Cook over high flame for 5 mins.
  • Add mutton and its water. Cover.
  • Add 2.5 big bowls of water after mixing in the spinach (palak). Continue to stir in for 5 mins (5 whistles).
