Ingredients

  • 2 kg - Mutton
  • 1/2 cup - salt
  • 200 g - Red Chilli
  • How to Make Mutton Preserve:

    1. Clean the mutton, neatly cut into uniform pieces.
    2. Wash it 3 or 4 times with water.
    3. Make big holes in the pieces with a poker.
    4. Mix salt and chilli powder. Mix it with the pieces.
    5. Soak it for 2 or 3 hours.
    6. Pass a string through all the pieces, dry it in hot sun till it becomes crisp and store in a tight jar.
