How to Make Mutton Sak

  • Heat the oil, add the spices and onions.
  • When the onion is golden brown, add the ginger and garlic. Fry for 2 mins. Then add the tomato puree and fry for a further minute.
  • Add the tomatoes, all the powders, garam masala, chillies (if using) and salt. Stir.
  • Add the mutton and potatoes. Stir.
  • Add 125 ml water, cover and simmer on low heat for 40 mins until the meat is cooked.
  • Keep checking to ensure the sauce is not drying up before the meat is cooked. Add more water if necessary.
  • Garnish with the chopped coriander.
