Ingredients

  • 500 g - Mutton cubes
  • For the Gravy:
  • 1/2 cup - oil
  • 2 - crushed Onions
  • 2 - whole Cloves (lavang)
  • 2 - whole Cardamom (elaichi)
  • For the Mixture:
  • 1 cup - Curd (whipped till smooth)
  • 1/2 tsp - Saffron (kesar)
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 2 tbsp - s - Almond powder
  • 1 tsp - kasoori Methi
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder (haldi)
  • How to Make Mutton Shahi Korma:

    1. Pressure cook mutton cubes in 2 cups of water along with 2 pieces of bay leaves (tejpatta) and 1 tsp salt till tender.
    2. Once cooked, coat with egg and crumbs deep fry till golden and keep aside.
    3. Heat oil, fry the cloves, cardamoms and onions till golden.
    4. Add the ingredients for mixture and cook.
    5. When oil separates, add 1.5 cup water and bring to a boil.
    6. Add the fried mutton. Simmer for 10 mins on low heat and serve.
