  • 1 cup - tofu cubes
  • 1/4 cup - corn kernels
  • 2 cups - vegetable stock water
  • 2 tsp - soya sauce
  • 1 tsp - ginger, minced
  • 1 tsp - garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp - green chilli sauce
  • 1/2 tsp - white vinegar
  • 2 tsp - tomato ketchup
  • 1/4 tsp - white pepper powder
  • 2 cups - water
  • 2 tsp - corn flour
  • 1 tsp - green onions/garlic chives
  • To taste - salt
  • As required - sesame oil

How to Make MW Hot and Soup Tofu Soup

  • Marinate the tofu cubes with soya sauce, ketchup, chilli sauce and a few drops of sesame oil. Let them sit for a few minutes.
  • Heat sesame oil in a microwave safe bowl in high, for 2 minutes. Add garlic, ginger pieces and cook them for 3 minutes in high.
  • Add the marinated tofu cubes, corn kernels and cook again for 5 minutes in high.
  • Add 2 cups of vegetable stock water and cook for 15 minutes (stir twice in between).
  • Finally, add the white vinegar and white pepper powder.
  • Mix enough water to the corn flour, and make a thin batter.
  • Add this batter to the cooking soup, cook for two more minutes in high.
  • Now the soup will be thick. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
