Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Tofu cubes
  • 1/4 cup - Corn kernels
  • 2 cups - vegetable stock water
  • 2 tsp - soya sauce
  • 1 tsp - ginger, minced
  • 1 tsp - garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp - Green chilli sauce
  • 1/2 tsp - white Vinegar
  • 2 tsp - Tomato ketchup
  • 1/4 tsp - white pepper powder
  • 2 cups - water
  • 2 tsp - Corn flour
  • 1 tsp - green onions/garlic chives
  • To taste - salt
  • As required - sesame oil
  • How to Make MW Hot and Soup Tofu Soup:

    1. Marinate the tofu cubes with soya sauce, ketchup, chilli sauce and a few drops of sesame oil. Let them sit for a few minutes.
    2. Heat sesame oil in a microwave safe bowl in high, for 2 minutes. Add garlic, ginger pieces and cook them for 3 minutes in high.
    3. Add the marinated tofu cubes, corn kernels and cook again for 5 minutes in high.
    4. Add 2 cups of vegetable stock water and cook for 15 minutes (stir twice in between).
    5. Finally, add the white vinegar and white pepper powder.
    6. Mix enough water to the corn flour, and make a thin batter.
    7. Add this batter to the cooking soup, cook for two more minutes in high.
    8. Now the soup will be thick. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
