  • 2 cups - Basmati Rice (soaked for 10 minutes)
  • 1 cup - frozen Green peas
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 3 - Green chillies (slit opened)
  • 1 cup - Yoghurt
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required
  • How to Make MW Peas and Yogurt Pulao:

    1. Heat oil and cumin seeds in a microwave safe bowl for 2 minutes.
    2. Add frozen peas, green chillies, garam masala powder and salt. Cook everything for 5 minutes (stir in between).
    3. Add soaked rice with yoghurt and 2 cups of water. Cook for 20-25 minutes (stir twice or thrice in between) until the rice is well cooked. Serve with raita or kurma.
