  • 1 cup - shortening
  • 1 cup - powdered Sugar
  • 2 cups - all purpose flour
  • A pinch of Nutmeg powder
  • 1/4 tsp -cardamom powder
  • 5-6 tbsp - Pista powder (optional)
  • How to Make Nankathai:

    1. Mix the shortening and powdered sugar.
    2. Gently add the flour, cardamom, nutmeg, and pista powder
    3. Make into small balls.
    4. Keep on a baking sheet 2 inches apart and bake at 300 degrees F for about 20-30 mins or till done.
