Ingredients

  • For Sweet and Sour Mushroom Dressing:
  • button Mushrooms - 1 cup, chopped finely
  • soya oil - 3 tbsp
  • Tomato ketchup - 4 tbsp
  • Vinegar - 2 tbsp
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp
  • dark soya sauce - 2 tsp
  • pepper to taste
  • salt to taste
  • For Salad:
  • noodles - 200 gm
  • cooked shrimps - 1 cup
  • green Capsicum - ½ cup, cut into thin strips
  • red Capsicum - ½ cup, cut into thin strips
  • Spring onion - ½ cup, chopped
  • fresh root Ginger - 2 tsp, minced
  • pepper to taste
  • salt to taste

How to Make Noodle and Shrimp Salad

  • Heat oil for the dressing and lightly saute the mushrooms.
  • Add rest of the ingredients for dressing and simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Remove from fire and cool.
  • Cook noodles as directed on the pack and drain.
  • Combine the noodles with shrimps, green and red capsicums, spring onion and ginger.
  • Toss with the dressing.
  • Taste and correct the seasoning.
