Ingredients

  • For Sweet and Sour Mushroom Dressing:
  • button Mushrooms - 1 cup, chopped finely
  • soya oil - 3 tbsp
  • Tomato ketchup - 4 tbsp
  • Vinegar - 2 tbsp
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp
  • dark soya sauce - 2 tsp
  • pepper to taste
  • salt to taste
  • For Salad:
  • noodles - 200 gm
  • cooked shrimps - 1 cup
  • green Capsicum - ½ cup, cut into thin strips
  • red Capsicum - ½ cup, cut into thin strips
  • Spring onion - ½ cup, chopped
  • fresh root Ginger - 2 tsp, minced
  • pepper to taste
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Noodle and Shrimp Salad:

    1. Heat oil for the dressing and lightly saute the mushrooms.
    2. Add rest of the ingredients for dressing and simmer for 2 minutes.
    3. Remove from fire and cool.
    4. Cook noodles as directed on the pack and drain.
    5. Combine the noodles with shrimps, green and red capsicums, spring onion and ginger.
    6. Toss with the dressing.
    7. Taste and correct the seasoning.
