Ingredients

  • 2 - golden apples
  • 1 - pastry sheet
  • 1 cup - low fat cream
  • 1/2 cup - sugar
  • 1 tsp - sugar
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 tsp - vanilla extract

How to Make Normandy Apple Tart

  • Place the pastry sheet in a tart mould and pick it with a fork to make small dots.
  • Slice the apples into thin pieces and arrange it over the pastry sheet.
  • Whisk together cream, eggs and sugar with vanilla extract.
  • Preheat the oven to 350F, pour this cream mixture over the arranged apple slices, sprinkle 1 tsp of sugar over the apple slices (to caramelise the apples while baking), bake the tart in the middle rack of the oven for 30 minutes.
  • Let it cool, cut the tart into small triangles.
