  • 1/2 bunch - palak
  • 2 - medium sized russet potatoes
  • 6 to 7 - red chillies
  • 7 to 8 - garlic cloves
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • Salt

How to Make Nutritious Aloo Palak

  • Bake the potatoes in the microwave. Cut into medium sized pieces and keep aside.
  • Wash and chop palak. Keep aside.
  • Peel and cut garlic cloves into halves.
  • Break the chillies into small pieces.
  • Heat oil in a saucepan. Add mustard. Let it crackle.
  • Then add garlic. Saute well till light brown.
  • Add chillies. Saute well again (till chillies change colour).
  • Now, add the potatoes and saute till they change colour and are slightly crisp.
  • Add palak and salt.
  • Cook till palak is done (about 10-15 mins).
