Ingredients

  • 1 cup - mixed nuts like cashew, raisin, almond, apricot, pista
  • 4 - dry figs
  • 4 - dry dates
  • 1 tbsp - red sugar candy powder
  • 1 cup - jaggery or powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp - ghee

How to Make Nutritious Toffee

  • Powder the dry fruits into a coarse mixture and keep in a microwave-friendly bowl.
  • Add jaggery or powdered sugar, red sugar candy powder and ghee. Mix well.
  • If the mixture is too dry, add a little warm milk.
  • Microwave for 10 mins at moderate temperature.
  • Stir in between.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased plate and cut into small pieces.
