  • Grated carrot - 1 cup
  • Grated coconut - 1 cup
  • Milk - 1/2 litre
  • Sugar - 1.5 cups
  • Broken cashew nuts - 1/2 cup
  • Ghee - 5 tbsp

How to Make Nutty Carrot Burfi

  • Fry the coconut and carrot separately without adding oil or ghee.
  • Mix sugar with milk and heat it, stirring continuously, till the sugar dissolves.
  • Add the fried coconut and carrot and stir well.
  • Simmer till thickens into a dough.
  • After it comes rolling off the pan, add the broken cashew nuts.
  • Smear ghee in a tray, transfer the mixture, and cut into pieces after it becomes cool.
