  • 2 cups - granulated sugar
  • 1 cup - water
  • 2 tsp - Mix fruit jam
  • 1 cup - toasted nuts, coarsely chopped
  • Pinch of salt

How to Make Nutty Jam Cloth

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Place sugar, water, and jam in a medium saucepan and stir to combine.
  • Cook over medium-high heat for 10 minutes, without stirring, until mixture starts to brown.
  • Gently swirl the pan until the mixture is an even, deep amber colour.
  • Immediately remove from heat and quickly stir in nuts and salt.
  • Pour immediately on to the prepared baking sheet, spread in an even layer, and let it cool.
  • Once cool, break into small pieces and serve.
