Ingredients

  • Old fashioned Quaker oatmeal - 2 cups
  • Urad dal - 1 cup
  • Chana dal - 1/2 cup
  • Moong dal - 1/2 cup
  • Methi - 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger paste - 1 tsp
  • Green chillies - 4 to 6

How to Make Oatmeal Dosa (Pancakes)

  • Soak all the ingredients for 4-5 hrs and grind into a smooth paste.
  • Let it ferment overnight. Then stir the fermented batter well.
  • Heat a thick, flat griddle, preferably non-stick, until a few drops of water sprinkled on it sizzle and evaporate quickly.
  • Reduce the flame, pour about 1/2 cup of batter on it and spread quickly with the back of a ladle in concentric circles to a thin pancake.
  • Increase the flame to medium and cook till the under side is golden brown.
  • Serve hot with chutney or sambhar.
