  • 3 - Potatoes (cooked and mashed)
  • 1 cup - Banana Blossom (chopped and cooked)
  • 1 - Onion (chopped)
  • 2 - Green chillies (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp - Fennel seed powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 2 tbsp - Corn flour
  • 1/4 cup - rolled oats
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • A few Curry leaves
  • How to Make Oats Crusted Banana Blossom Cutlet:

    1. Take the mashed potatoes, cooked banana blossom chunks, fennel seed powder, garam masala powder and mix everything well with salt and keep aside.
    2. Heat a few drops of oil and saute the chopped onions and chopped green chillies with curry leaves.
    3. Once the onions turn translucent, put off the stove.
    4. Add the cooked vegetables to the potato mixture, mix everything well until they turn into a dough.
    5. Make a thick white sauce with corn flour and water.
    6. Make medium-sized round shaped cutlets from the mixture.
    7. Dip the cutlets in the corn flour paste and roll over the rolled oats.
    8. Arrange these cutlets in fridge for an hour.
    9. Shallow fry them until the crust turns brown.
