How to Make

  • Cut the okhra into very fine roundels. (The thinner the better)
  • Finely chop onions and green chillies.
  • Whisk the yoghurt to a smooth consistency.
  • Heat 4 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan.
  • Add okhra roundels and on low-flame fry till crispy. This may take upto 5-8 minutes.
  • In a separate pan heat the remaining oil, add mustard seeds allow to pop.
  • Add the dried red chillies, onion and green chillies sauté till golden brown.
  • To the whisked and smooth yoghurt add the above fried ingredients.
  • Serve as an accompaniment for various Indian meals and snacks.
