Ingredients

  • 1/4 kg - okra/ladies finger
  • 1 tsp - mustard
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp - red chilly powder
  • 2 tbsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • a pinch - Asafoetida
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying

How to Make Okra Ladies finger fry

  • Wash and cut okra and keep other ingredients ready.
  • Heat oil in a pan/kadai, add mustard. When it pops up, add cumin seeds and okra.
  • Fry for a minute.
  • Now add red chilly powder, coriander powder and a little salt.
  • Fry well. If required add oil in between.
