Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Cooked Rice
  • 1 cup - Okra chopped
  • 300g - Prawns
  • 1 - Onion chopped lengthwise
  • 1 tbsp - Soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp - Green chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp - Ginger crushed
  • 5 - Garlic pods sliced
  • 1/2 tsp - White pepper powder
  • 2pinch - Ajinomoto
  • Salt
  • 2 tbsp - Sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp - Garlic chives chopped
  • How to Make Okra Prawn Fried Rice:

    1. Heat a few drops of sesame oil in pan, add chopped okra with salt and cook for a few minutes until the stickiness disappears.
    2. Heat the rest of the oil, add onion chopped lengthwise with ginger and garlic. Stir for a few minutes.
    3. Add shrimps to the onion with soya sauce, chilli sauce, ajinomoto and cook for a while.
    4. Now add the cooked rice to the shrimps. Toss everything gently. Check for salt.
    5. Add the cooked okra, white pepper powder and garnish with garlic chives.
    6. Serve hot.
