Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup - besan flour
  • 1/4 cup - milk
  • 1 finely chopped - onions
  • 1 - green chilly, finely chopped
  • 1 - tomato, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp - garam masala powder
  • 1/ 2 tsp - cumin powder
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tsp - oil

How to Make Old-fashioned Vegetable Omelette

  • Heat oil in a kadai.
  • Saute ginger-garlic and chillies for 1 minute.
  • Then add onions and saute it until they become transparent and soft.
  • Then add the tomatoes and cook until soft.
  • Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and cumin powder.
  • Add salt and keep the mixture aside once cooked.
  • In a bowl, beat besan and milk until they become soft and fluffy.
  • Add a pinch of salt.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Reduce the flame, then pour the mixture of besan and milk into the pan.
  • Add the above prepared mixture of onions and tomatoes on top.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and then allow it to cook on low flame.
  • Flip it over and cook the other part.
  • Serve hot with toasted bread and butter.
