Ingredients

  • 2 - medium size onions
  • 6 to 7 - green chillies
  • tamarind
  • cumin
  • mustard
  • salt to taste

How to Make Onion and Mustard Chutney

  • In a pan, take oil and add cumin, mustard, cubed onions, tamarind, salt and green chillies.
  • Cover and cook on low flame till the onions are light brown.
  • Once onions are light brown remove from gas. Cool and grind it.
  • Serve with steamed rice and ghee.
