How to Make Onion Baby Potato Roast

  • Dry roast all the spices under the list 'roast and grind' and keep aside.
  • Meanwhile, cook the baby potatoes in water with salt until they are well cooked, peel the skin and keep aside.
  • Heat oil, fry the cumin seeds, crushed garlic cloves until they turn aromatic.
  • Then add the chopped onions, curry leaves and saute until the onions turn translucent.
  • Now add the cooked potatoes, turmeric powder and salt. Cook on medium flame for a few minutes.
  • Finally add the ground spice powder as per requirement and cook on simmer till oil separates.
  • Serve hot with rice and dal.
