  • 4 - Bread slices | 2 tsp - Urad dhal
  • 3 tbsp - Mint leaves
  • 1 - finely chopped Onion
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - Chilli powder
  • 2 tsp - Sambhar powder (optional)
  • Ghee - to toast
  • How to Make Onion Mint Sandwich:

    1. Heat 1 tsp of oil, add urad dhal.
    2. Let it temper and add mint leaves and saute well till the leaves are crushed.
    3. Add a few drops of water and grind to a fine paste. Keep it aside.
    4. Drizzle oil, add onion, turmeric powder, chilli powder, sambhar powder and saute till the onions turn light brown.
    5. Take 2 bread slices and apply the mint paste on both the slices.
    6. Place the onion filling in between the slices and press.
    7. Toast it with ghee.
    8. Serve warm.
