  • 8 big slices bread
  • 50 gms - butter
  • 10 cubes cheese (grated)
  • 1 big capsicum (finely chopped)
  • 1 big tomato (deseeded and finely chopped)
  • 2 green chillies (finely chopped)
  • 2 or 3 tbsp - finely chopped coriander leaves
  • pepper powder to taste
  • salt to taste

How to Make Open Cheese Toast

  • Butter the slices of bread.
  • In a plate mix grated cheese, capsicum, tomato, green chillies, coriander leaves, salt and pepper.
  • Evenly spread out some cheese mixture on each of the bread slice.
  • Pre-heat the oven for few minutes.
  • Place the bread slices in the oven and toast at 150 degree C till the cheese melts and the bread is toasted.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup and French fries.
