Ingredients

  • cooked Chicken breast, chopped into 2 cm pieces - 1 cup
  • soy oil - 1 tbsp
  • garlic, minced - 2 tsp
  • ginger, minced - 2 tsp
  • chili flakes - 1 tsp
  • onion, chopped - ½ cup
  • green capsicum, chopped - ½ cup
  • red capsicum, chopped - ½ cup
  • bok choy, chopped - 1 cup
  • button or straw mushrooms, sliced - 1 cup
  • silken tofu, diced - ½ cup
  • Tamarind pulp - 2 tbsp
  • palm Sugar - 1 tbsp

How to Make Oriental Chicken with Tofu

  • Heat oil, fry garlic and ginger till fragrant.
  • Add chili flakes, fry for few seconds.
  • Add all the vegetables.
  • Sprinkle with a little water.
  • Cover and cook till they are softened.
  • Add chicken, tofu and rest of the ingredients.
  • Simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Taste and correct the seasoning.
  • Serve hot with boiled noodles.
