Mix all the ingredients of the bajji batter to make into a smooth paste by adding water little by little. The batter should not be too thick or too watery. Heat enough oil in a kadai and wait till it is smoking.
Dip each paan leaf into the batter and drop into the oil.
Fry till it is well done.
Delicious paan bajji is ready.
You can even chop the paan leaves finely and add it to the batter.
Take a little batter in your palm and drop into the oil.
If desired, lay them on a serving plate and sprinkle chaat masala over them. Serve hot.
