Ingredients

  • 6 cups - of Rice
  • 12 cups - of water
  • 1 small Chicken
  • 1.5 kg - fried Tomatoes
  • 1.5 kg - Prawns and shrimps
  • 1.5 kg - peas
  • 2 peppers, cut in strips
  • 2 Cloves of Garlic
  • 1 small Onion
  • 1 small cup of Olive oil
  • salt and saffron.
  • How to Make Paella:

    1. Place olive oil, garlic, onion, tomatoes and chicken pieces in the paella dish.
    2. Lightly fry together and add the rice, water and salt to taste.
    3. Before they come to a boil, add the peas, prawns, shrimps and saffron.
    4. Leave to cook slowly for 15 mins. and place on top of the strips of peppers.
