Ingredients

  • 6 cups - of rice
  • 12 cups - of water
  • 1 small chicken
  • 1.5 kg - fried tomatoes
  • 1.5 kg - prawns and shrimps
  • 1.5 kg - peas
  • 2 peppers, cut in strips
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 small cup of olive oil
  • salt and saffron.

How to Make Paella

  • Place olive oil, garlic, onion, tomatoes and chicken pieces in the paella dish.
  • Lightly fry together and add the rice, water and salt to taste.
  • Before they come to a boil, add the peas, prawns, shrimps and saffron.
  • Leave to cook slowly for 15 mins. and place on top of the strips of peppers.
