Ingredients

  • 4 cups - prawns, peeled
  • 8 - Cloves garlic, slices
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 cup - water
  • 1 tbsp - Sugar
  • 4 - Onions
  • 6 - tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
  • 6 - Bay Leaves
  • 2 tbsp - olives, chopped
  • 1 tbsp - pepper
  • 4 tbsp - Butter
  • 4 tbsp - salad oil
  • 1 tsp - Salt
  • How to Make Pakistani Prawns:

    1. Chop onions and garlic and saute in a mixture of oil and butter until golden brown.
    2. Add tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes.
    3. Add cleaned prawns, salt, pepper, chilli powder, sugar and 1/2 cup of water.
    4. Cook till the prawns are pink.
    5. Add the bay leaves and olives.
    6. Serve hot.
