  • 1 bunch fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried Mango (amchoor) powder
  • 1/2 tsp Wheat flour
  • 2 pinches Asafoetida powder
  • 1/2 tsp each mustard and Cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • How to Make Palak ki Sabzi:

    1. Wash and drain spinach in a colander.
    2. Heat oil in pan, add seeds and allow to splutter.
    3. Add asafoetida and tomatoes and stir.
    4. Add all spice powders, stir and cook for a minute.
    5. Add spinach, cover and allow to soften.
    6. Stir, add flour and simmer further for 2-3 mins.
    7. Take off fire and serve hot with roti, puri or rice.
